Indulge in the Richness of Sago Seed Pudding

In this post, I’ll show you how to make the delectable sago pudding dessert. 

First of all, What is sago?

Sago palm is widespread in tropical lowland forest throughout Southeast Asia and New Guinea. Metroxylon saug is the name given to the extracted sago seeds has a starch texture, a neutral taste due to the starch. It can be served chilled with water or milk.  a form of energetic food. There aren’t many nutritional advantages. But it’s tasty!

So, without further ado, lets’ see the ingredients and the instruction.

Ingredients:

  1. One liter milk.
  2. ¾ cup sago seeds. (Clean it first and strain it). You can find sago seeds here.
  3. One tbsp. kidi water. The link is here
  4. ½ cup sugar.

Instruction:

  1. First, boil the milk.
  2. Second, the sugar and stir.
  3. Third, add sago seeds and keep stirring. (Keep stirring so the sago seeds will not stick in the bottom of the pot and will not burn).
  4. Fourth, put tbsp. kidi water.
  5. It will take about 20 to 25 minutes to be cooked. Or until the sago seeds become transparent.
  6. When it is ready pour the sago pudding into the pudding dishes. Have a look to this awesome dessert cup here
  7. Keep it until it is cold in room temperature and add it in the refrigerator.
